I want to bring my strong analytical skills, my capacity to plan and organize in an effective manner and my team leadership capacity to an organization where success means achieving results, client satisfaction is reached acting with integrity and learning is part of everyday thinking.

Work experience

  • Include the name of the company and describe in one or two sentences their core business. You can also include the companies’ website.
  • Write your title and the dates you worked in this function. For people who have worked internationally, you can include the job location city/country.
  • Detail the tasks and key responsibilities you manage in each function. List no more than three to five main tasks. How do you spend your time? Use a bullet format for documenting this. It is more important to write about your specific role and contribution than the general context of the team. Include a personal achievement or KPI (key performance indicator) which you reached.
  • Always begin your CV with the most recent experience at the top.

Soft skills

Soft skills are the competencies you have which are related to your character. Here is a list of some core competencies that most companies are incorporating into their culture. Which ones do you have? Be sure to include your soft skills (refer to list below) which are more unique to you and your professional experience. In your job interview, be prepared to have supporting examples to explain how you have applied these competencies. This is called competency based interviewing. It’s common practice used by HR and Recruitment companies. An example question might be, “can you tell me about a time in your past function where you showed that you collaborate well with others?” or “Can you provide an example in your current position where you demonstrate your leadership skills?”
